The City of Taunton is currently investing over $100 million in upgrades and infastructure improvements to the existing Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 825 West Water Street. The project includes equipment upgrades; expansion of chlorine chamber; construction of new treatment equipment, buildings, and a biological tank; replacement of water system, tanks, pumps, and piping; building system and architectural improvements to the Administration Building; SCADA system installation and associated instrumentation. The improvements should enhance facility performance, increase treatment capacity, and ensure compliance with Federal and State mandates.
